OUR 50 YEAR MISSION

FROM FLORIDA TO CHINA

A 50 YEAR PARTNERSHIP

After earning our university degrees and serving together at Gold Coast Christian School in Florida for six-years, we accepted positions to with Riverdale Baptist School to assist with developing a new campus and establishing it as one of the finest Christian, college-preparatory institutions in the state o Maryland. Our next move was to Oxen Hill, MD to serve National Christian Academy as the educational leaders for fifteen years. Then we crossed the Potomac River to the rapidly expanding community of Loudoun County to establish Virginia Academy and develop a new campus, in the heart of the county. Sixteen years later we were given an incredible opportunity to open a prototype, grades 1-12 American style school in mainland China. Having Washington Dulles Airport close made the 12-hour flight to Shenzhen more convienent. Working in China for four years was a rewarding experience, as we saw students, who did not know English to quickly learn to read and understand their primers before Christmas. Even more rewarding was watching our graduates earn scores on the SAT and TOEFL that allowed them to attend universities in the US, Russia and Great Britain. Then it was time to retire, or so we thought! Due to our love and empathy for the Chinese people, we continue to serve Chinese students as recruiters and facilitators enrolled in private and public schools.

THEN CAME WILLOW SPRING FARM

After returning from China, we made a coast to coast, 32-day trip out West. The slower pace and great outdoors made us yearn for the country, so we decided to move from the Town of Leesburg to the nearby countryside, where life was slower, and the mountains were closer. We acquired a 9-acre horse-farm, refurbished the dilapidated barn and rescued two thoroughbred mares after their racing careers were finished. Our vision was to use our rescued horses to rescue disabled and traumatized veterans, which seemed like an impossible dream, but in two years we reached our goal. Now we have five horses, including foals born in 2022 and 2023. Please refer veterans you might know to us!  Below is a comprehensive summary of our current endeavors.
